Nate has a heart for this community— the community his grandfather, Kenneth Bennett, grew up in. He loves teaching God’s Word and watching God use imperfect people to accomplish His purpose. In turn, Nate’s passion for ministry is watching people in their journey of transformation as they move from who they are to who God wants them to be.
Nate began his ministry in La Harpe as a student intern working with high school students in 2001. After graduation from Lincoln Christian College and working in campus ministry at Western Illinois University (WIU), Nate returned to La Harpe as Minister of Involvement and Discipleship in May 2011.
Nate and his wife Liz have two children: Eli and Madison
